||Video|| Twin Sister - Bad Street

Bad Street has been getting a lot of attention this summer and Twin Sister just premiered a painfully endearing video for it (directed by colorist/compositor Dan Devin). Twin Sister is an irresistibly dream-poppy five member band from Long Island. With two EP's under their belt (Vampire With Dreaming Kids (2008) and Color Your Life (2008), their following finally started picking up in 2010 with their single All Around and Away We Go, ranking at 59 on Pitchfork's tracks of the year. Their first album, In Heaven, is set to release on September 27th under Domino Records.

According to a conversation with Stereogum at this year's Pitchfork Festival, the content of the video is based on lead singer Andrea Estella's, childhood experience. The video features many family friends and emulates her neighborhood's long time tradition of throwing collabo-street parties. My heart is blushing.

A look back at All Around and Away We Go...

In an interview with Pitchfork, the members revealed they hope to achieve enough success musically to one day quit their day jobs at Edible Arrangements. So unless you have some twisted fantasy of this band showing up to your door with a basket full of flower-shaped fruit, show a little support to help them become fulltime musicians.
